Chicken in red sauce














We make unbelievable chicken in the saucepan with wonderful aromas and mommy taste! Easy and always successful recipe without secrets that will make your loved ones love your cooking ...
Servings: 8


Ingredients
1 chicken cut into 8 servings
4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 onion finely chopped
1 clove of garlic chopped
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
50 ml of white or red wine
1 bay leaf
1/2 cinnamon stick
1 canned chopped tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Way of execution
-In a saucepan, pour the olive oil and saute the chicken to brown all sides. Then put it temporarily in a bowl.
-In the same pot, pour the onion with the garlic and saute until they are polished. Put the chicken back into the saucepan and pour the salt, pepper, lemon juice, tomato paste and mix lightly. Now turn off the wine and wait for 1 minute to evaporate the most alcohol.
- Pour the tomatoes, bay leaf, cinnamon and sugar. Fill with 1-2 cups of water until it covers 2/3 of the chicken. Once we have the first boil we lower the fire in half and cover for 30 minutes.
- Open the lid and turn the chicken, while controlling the water in the pot up to at least the middle of the chicken. Turn again and simmer for another 30 minutes. In the last 10 minutes, uncover the pot, so that most liquor leaves and a beautiful concentrated sauce left.

Serve on a platter and accompany it with mash, rice or french fries
